Much Ado About Nothing

Anybody else as underwhelmed about the election as I am? Tonight it’s being reported that Obama has secured the democratic nomination. Well, yip yip yahoo as Rush would say. I, for one, thought it would have been more exciting to see him and Clinton go down to the wire at the convention. Frankly the election is the choice between three liberals of varying degrees - evil, more evil and supremely evil. Take your pick. I’ve pretty much vowed not to vote for McCain. I’m not even sure if picking Mitt as his veep would sway my vote although I’d give it another look. If he picks Huckabee, you can kiss that vote goodbye. Honestly, I’m not sure if there is much that can keep Obama out of the White House unless you get a lot of white supremists to the polls. I know that sounds racist but honestly, there are a lot of people who don’t want to see a black man as president. I’m not one of them but this is one black man who should be as far away from Pennsylvania Avenue as possible. Where’s Alan Keyes when you need him?

Well, whatever the outcome, it doesn’t bode well for the good ol’ US of A. I am thinking that it’s every many for himself now. These guys will screw things up big time.
